Women Veterans Program at VA Puget Sound
VA Puget Sound Health Care is dedicated to supporting the health, well-being, and dignity of female veterans by ensuring they receive timely, respectful, and high-quality care. Our Women's Health Program provides comprehensive support through stand-alone clinics at American Lake and Seattle Divisions as well as community-based clinics, offering a private environment that respects patient preferences regarding provider ger for healthcare services.
The program is committed to providing exceptional care, including but not limited to:
Treatment for alcohol and drug abuse
Cervical cancer screening and colposcopy procedures
Trauma evaluation and management
Incontinence treatments and incontinence management programs
Mammography services
Menopause management support
Mental health services, including PTSD treatment and military sexual trauma care
Osteoporosis assessment and therapy options
Primary care services
Reproductive benefits
Trauma recovery programs
HIVSTD screening
VA Puget Sound Health Care also offers comprehensive mental health services that address issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD and military sexual trauma. Substance abuse treatment is provided on-site for those who need it.
For any service not avlable at our facilities, VA Puget Sound will refer patients to community providers.

VA Puget Sound Health Care warmly welcomes female veterans into its care. We are committed to providing top-quality services in a sensitive and safe setting across all of our medical centers. Each woman veteran is assigned a Women's Health Primary Care Provider who is trned to offer comprehensive primary care alongside routine women's health services. As part of the Patient Aligned Care Team PACT, your provider works closely with a nurse and other healthcare professionals to manage your overall health:
General medical care for acute and chronic conditions like chronic pn, hypertension, diabetes
Preventive care through immunizations, cancer screenings breast, cervical, osteoporosis screening and management
Ger-specific care tlored to women's health needs
Birth control counseling, family planning services, preconception guidance

Health Wellness at VA Puget Sound
VA Puget Sound offers a range of telehealth options, maternity care services, infertility treatments, PTSD and mental health support, military sexual trauma resources, and a dedicated Women Veterans Call Center to help navigate our healthcare services.
